Make a Blanket Day started as a response to the low supply of fleece blankets provided to hospitals during the summer months. Our kiddos in the hospital are continuing to face cold hospital rooms and treatments even in those warmer months. It has now grown to be held in multiple cities throughout the year and has turned into a multi-community event that engages thousands of people in one day at one location to make thousands of blankets.
